I recently finished a collaborative project with the Somerville Art's Council around this year's ArtBeat theme, Voice. The project includes art collected during a series of public workshops throughout Somerville. You can see the finished installation at the Inside-OUT Gallery in Davis Square through the end of July.
One of my recent prints will be part of "Inspired Views," an exhibition of work by art educators from New England at Montserrat College of Art. The show will be up from June 5th through July 1st at Montserrat's gallery in Beverly, MA. There will be an artist reception on June 17th from 2-4.
Somerville Open Studios are quickly approaching! On May 6th and 7th, stop by my space at Vernon Street Studios between 12-6pm to see new work. My studio will also be open for a sneak preview on May 5th from 6 to 9pm.
Come check out my art at the Inside-OUT Gallery in Davis Square. The show features work by Somerville artists who are participating in Somerville Open Studios for the first time. The show will be up until May 8th with a reception on April 20th from 5:30-7:30.
Teaching at Center for Arts at the Armory, Somerville
Beginning in September, I will be teaching a ten-week series of printmaking workshops at ArmoryARTS at the Center for the Arts at the Armory in Somerville. Each workshop will feature a different type of printmaking that you can do without a printing press. Check back soon for more information and to register for either the entire series or individual workshops.
Check out my woodcut "The Slovak Shingle Maker Lives Here" at the Copley Society of Art in Boston. The print is part of the 25th Annual Student Show. The show opens March 5 at 5:30 and will be up until April 16th. If you can't make it to the show, you can view the exhibition online.
